Class of 1993

Shanon (Aleccia) Torres Hi everyone. I am a married, mother of two living in sunny Arizona. My son, Michael, is six and Marlie, my daughter, is two and a half. My husband Danny and I moved here in 2004 to get away from the congestion of So. Cal and to be able to afford a beautiful new home in a great, family oriented community outside of Phoenix. I recently went back to work after being a stay at home mom for more than five years. I was an Esthetician (skin care specialist) before deciding to stay home with our son. With the down turn in the economy the spas were not hiring so I found a position as an assistant teacher at a local private school. I am enjoying it so much that I am planning to go back to school to get my teaching credentials. I love it here in AZ, despite the blisteringly hot summers, but I do miss the beach. I took it for granted living so close to it for so many years. Now that I am so far away I miss the smell and the moisture in the air. Being only six hours away, we visit a few times a year. My parents and extended family are all still in the So. Bay.

Betsy Alva

Ken Cordaro Just looking through the web and found this site, I didn't know it existed. I am a firefighter/paramedic for L.A.F.D, but am currently being deployed to Iraq with the Army (I am a reservist). I am married and have a wife who is currently pregnant (I'll have a 6 month old when I get home). I returned to the south bay after living in westwood for the past 6 or 7 years and still see some people from SHS every now and again. I hope everyone is doing well, feel free to e-mail me if you like.

Chris Davies Hi. I'm writing this in 11/03 and after seeing the pic of the class of '93 in '03..looked like a hoot. I am a TV producer/director (cameraman, scriptwriter, editor, voice talent, on camera name it.) After Graduation I moved around CA a bit to figure out what I wanted to do..then ended up at Cal State Los Angeles and got a BA in Broadcasting...met my wife there as well! (at the same time I was working at KLOS with Mark and Brian) We moved to Bakersfield in '00 and have been here since, love it...had our first baby last month (madeline), best feeling in the world. Have a house, 2 dogs, 2 cats, pool, pond with 30 fish, 5 cars, life is not too shabby. Drop me a line, let's chat.

JoAnna DeAugustine Wow, I just came across this for the first time (it's 2007). Reading through this made me thoroughly depressed and keenly aware of what i have not yet done in this lifetime. After a few troubled years, i finnaly recieved my BFA in ceramic sculpture from long beach. I am currently a ceramics teacher for manhattan beach parks and rec, and i waitress and bartend on the weekends. No kids, still single. A recovering paranoid schizaphrenic (seriously I am, long story). Any how life is better now that i'm not so super suspicious of everything. drop me a line let me know how things are!!!

Joe Di Resta Hello all! I never ever thought that any of us would reach a 1/4 century!!! Any Hoo, I am still living in Torrance contemplating the meaning of life. I graduated from USC in 2000 with a degree in Studio Guitar and am now applying to UCLA to study Ethno-Musicology. I work at Dietz Bros. Music in Manhattan Beach and at Gray School of Music in San Pedro teaching guitar and bass. I am also freelancing as a musician around the L.A. area playing everything from rock to jazz. I am still in touch with lots of people from South including Kris Sarellano (a.k.a. Chuck), John Rennie, Scott Ricketts, Jerry Ray, Chet Barr, and Greg Eastham. I hope that y'all are doing good!!!!

Gregory Miles Eastham does anyone else think it's strange turning 30... it made me start thinking and i ended up here... my e mail addres has changed so... if you want it... 30 OMG

Bobbi (Edwards) Scott Glad to see so many people on here. I live in Long Beach, CA. I just celebrated my 1 year anniversary with my husband. No kids yet. I have been doing recruitment and sales the past 13 years and I love it! I still keep in touch with quite a few people from high school but this will connect even more of us. My email is

Denise (Fluke) Davies I hope to get in contact with some of you soon!( I am married and have a house 45 min north of Santa Barbara, in a very small town called Los Alamos. We are currently surrounded in the new Wine Country, if you want to visit. I took off of work to have some children, so I am very lucky that I get to stay home. Hope life is treating you well!!

Kevin Flynn Hola amigos, back in Cali for now, hopefully for good, been living all over the country with my former job at Northwest Airlines, Portand, Seattle, Minnesota for 2 years, Salt Lake City, Fort Myers Florida. Miss that job, but found a much higher paying job, so I guess I can't complain. Most of you probably don't remember me from High School, thats cool, I was always pretty quiet those days. I still have the same few friends from h.s. I hope everyone is doing good and accomplishing all of your goals. Later

Dara (Fuson) Lee Life is good! Living in Chandler, Arizona (Phoenix metro) Married for almost 6 years, have 2 dogs, no kids (don't want any). It's crazy to be all grown up, at least in age. My husband and I are really enjoying life together.....we basically do what we want, when we want to. I work at the University of Phoenix as a Counselor, I am also a Massage Therapist just for fun. Hope everyone is also doing well. There are a few of you I would love to hear from sometime. Email me at

We live in Temecula where I stay at home to raise my girls. Life is good. I love reading about all the different places everyone has gone, I will be traveling once all my kids are gone. My health has not been too good to me. I was diagnosed with Lupus in 2002 and it did a lot of damange. In fact the day after the reunion I was rushed into emergency surgery to have the lining of my heart removed it was scaring down to my heart. I now bear the open heart surgery scar of a 60 year old man. Very sexy. I hope that all is well for you and your families.
