Annette,
How can we contact you if you do not leave your e-mail address. There may be a reunion in the works. Let us know what you have been up to? Pass this web site to all 1980 grads that you know.

Hi all. I just found out about this site from kelly carll. Great to see some familiar names. Hi Cari Andrews, it is Kelly and Suzann Carll that are looking for you. Hi to Dave Thayer, yes it is Mrs. Right who is losing out. What is going on with the 20 year reunion????? Anyone know who to contact? Hi to Lauren McAlpin Reynolds and congratulations on baby #2 you are having about now. I have 2 children Alexandra 5 and Jake 4.

I was talking to my brother Frank and he was wondering why there are no 1976 people out there? Where are all the Seaside folks from K (1967) - 5th (1972)
Dave you remember all those guys right? or at least some. Let's see if I can:
Kurt Lentz, Curt Siverts(have not seen him in awhile), Doug Nolan (didn't he hang out with Lentz?), Steve Cole (I saw him working at Learned Lumber), Roger Wrase, Denise Rogers (I saw her last year), Coleen Topping. Where would they be hiding?

I have to say that I really didn't give South much thought after graduation day. It was on a whim, while I was trying to explain South to my husband that we hit on this website. You can only imagine how class comps and donkey basketball must sound to someone who went to British boys boarding school! I think seeing things through his perspective lets me look back and laugh at the things I hated at the time. I even miss Mr. Pickard now that I think about it! It's interesting to hear other's memories of places and people that I'd almost forgotten about. (But you could not induce me, for love or money, to ever relive High School!) We live in AZ now, I'm at home with my soon to be 4yo daughter (Katherine) and my 15mo son (Stephen). My dear husband is an airline pilot, who brings home peanuts and headcolds and loves me even when I'm in a temper! We've been married 5 years now (Greg Eastham was at the wedding. So nice to see him there, in his powder blue suit!) I've been busy the past few years raising the kids...and we hope to give my mother a fit by having one or two more! From South, I've only spoken to Mercedes Foster (who has a daughter a little older than mine) and was living in Oakland at the time. I also once saw Ken Cordaro on a cheesy dating game, about 2 yrs ago. I was rooting for him, but he didn't win. Best wishes to all of you Spartens...hope you're doing well...I think I'll head out to the garage & dust off the yearbooks. It's hard to put faces to names I haven't heard in so long!

Hey Guys: I was just reading some of the postings. Do not forget to write you e-mail addresses in the posting so people can e-mail you back. There were a lot of "blasts" from pasts from some old seaside/calle mayor friends! Mike Malone, you mentioned Jerry Lee, I saw him a few years back at Mrs. Goochs. He was happily married and seemed great. Haven't seen or heard of Phil Ramirez, hope he is well. I miss those carefree rowdy days of Calle Mayor! Frel free to e-amil me @ beverlie@hotmail.com
P.S. Robert Staszak e-mailed be but when I went to reply it said I couldn't reply to that e-mail address, sorry!

Hey this is so cool. Hey to all you football players out there who just happened to make it to the semi-finals this year; I just wanted to congradulate you guys. I went to every game you played...except the Irvine game. Im sorry! Hey you guys played the best game I have ever seen, I went to Santa Ynez and watched it there. Yup I was the one in the big, green cowboy hat who painted her face green. I also saw the Paso Robles game. You guys shouldent feel that bad about it. It looked like a stinken funeral at the end of the game; everyone was crying. Im just happy and excited about how far you came. I know Im writting about it a little too late but I dont care. I just wanted to let the football team know how great they did this season. Also for all you retarted Whimpy Warriors that keep writting from West. Dont you have better things to do like watch South whip your butts in soccer?? Because South Soccer is in FIRST PLACE!!! Great job guys. Hey how can I get a schedule of all the games (guys soccer)??? Hey life as a freshman is the best ever. Class Comps are fun and exciting. I dont think you can do much more to improve this school. For all you people who think you can improve the school you are just too picky. And if you want something done right do it yourself. You can help make the school better. Well thats all I want to say. And Im glad we have this awesome web site...thanks to whoever did this!!!

Twenty years later, and the only school bell I hear now is the tinnitus in my ears. Too many self-esteem boosting, Styx-cranking, totally awesome (but not too white-knuckling)kaleidoscopes of rad waves and kick-ass ski slopes featured on the tri-screen bully pulpit during special assemblies in the gym, perhaps. The sole ephiphany of my senior year, that high school was a caricature of "real life," a farcical hootnany of oddball characters, academic slapstick, and teenage self-indulgence, now gives way to the creeping realization that the center of the universe is located just off Pacific Coast Highway and Calle Mayor. The cosmic Rotcher is everywhere, making sure that the ice cream wrapper of chaos is neatly deposited in the trash bin of harmony. Arrested development is not a fault, it's a credo. 1976-1980 is an endless loop. Tuttle for A.D.

Hey everyone! I've been teaching Drama at Gardena High for the past four years. Been married to an incredible guy, Daniel, for two. Been acting like crazy -- catch me on Win Ben Stein's Money this Spring, and I did a bunch of other game show pilots this season (twenty-one with Maury Povich, etc.) You can see me in a website for a musical I'm in that opens next week (Jan28) in Santa Monica called "Scream Queens" -- www.geocities.com/broadway/wing/6366
Anyone else in the industry? I've written a musical and am looking for a producer. Email me anytime. Thanks!

Wow...am I the first one on here from '91? Well...after graduating from South, I went off to Southern Cal. and graduated with a BA in Biology. A year after, I moved to NYC to work on the Street. You're probably wondering how one makes a transition from bio to the stock market...I guess when I was studying bio, I saw "cell" as "sell" and "bi" as "buy" :)
Currently, I live in NYC and have no immediate plans to go anywhere else. I work for a small investment management firm while completing a dual concentration (Finance/Info. Systems) MBA at Pace University.
I would love to hear from my fellow Spartans, particularly those from the class of '91.

Just wanted to wish all the South High alums a Happy New Year.
I was reminiscing about New Year's Eve of 1961 when Mike Behrendt and I rented two adjoining rooms at the El Rancho Motel on PCH by the Torrance Airport to have a party and we wouldn't have to drive. What a wild party !! I still don't know how we got away with it. We found a guy that would buy for us at Walteria Liquor Store. Southern Comfort and 7up. Yikes !!! What a hangover. I think we had a great time !!
