Just found the site thanks to Rebecca Smith who called me from her glass corner office in Carlsbad, CA. I'm working on my 9th year in Chicago, and it seems I'm the only californian to move here and stay here. (I'm the only one stupid enough to stay here).I spend the winters traveling to warm places and dreaming of 80 degree January's. But other than the weather, Chicago is great. I'm not married, divorced, or addicted to any drugs.

I guess the South vs. West will never die. A bit of advice if I may: High School is not your whole life just a part, some may never understand it but for the most of us we all learn it and move on with our life and are glad when the opportunity presents itself to renew old friendships and just catch up.

I don't know much about Travis Jackson, the guy used to pick on me back in 99' with another guy. I never thought about it really though. Looking back however he lightened alot of people's hearts, I think the Daily Breeze did him a good amount of justice in their story. I never liked or dis-liked the guy a whole lot, I think it is really sad however when someone you know passes, I wish the best to the Jackson family, and if anyone knows of the memorial service, please E-mail me. May Travis be happy wherevere he is, I hold no grudges. Zack.

Class of 1980: I hope to see everyone of you at the reunion (even those of you who only went to South for a week before your dad was reassigned to Bilouxi).I'm sure not spending seventy bucks for the glamour and glitz of the Hawthorne Boulevard Promenade! The hotel and dinner are meaningless, but the opportunity to catch up with everyone every decade or so is too tempting to resist. Squeeze in a trip to see your parents (and give them the "delight" of babysitting the kids for a few hours) and show up. To all grads, be warned: Either come see us at the reunion, or we're all gonna show up at your house early one Sunday morning!

You really can't go back home
(1995) on Thu Aug 3 06:28:10 2000
Ya know. Ya really can't go back home or to school. As much as you would like. I've been dealing with life so much I forgot about a few people I wanted to keep track of in my life from high school. I just got back into this and was looking at the faculty listing. and my favorite teacher of all time wasn't there. mr lent. for those of you who will never get the chance to meet him, you'll never meet a funnier or more down to earth man. he told you like it was. I'll never forget about his story when he hooked up the zapper to his car so when he pressed a button the passenger got a shock. and then his brother went into the car and put the zapper on his seat. so when he thought to zap his brother. he got zapped. the man was a riot.
