Since our last reunion I had looked forward to this 40th; BUT -- Our last several reunions have included both of the founding classes of '60 and '61. Our two classes started South together and the custom of having our reunions together had become a favored tradition. Most of us '61ers know as many or more of the '60ers as we do our own. WHO DECIDED TO BREAK OUR ESTABLISHED TRADITION AND TO HOLD SEPARATE GATHERINGS?? I have personally kept in touch with several of you in each class and I know for a fact that out of disappointment several of you declined the '60 reunion and several of you (including me) are considering doing the same for the '61 reunion. Here I am in Oregon back at school permanently. I now teach at the local Middle and High Schools. We (Wanda Chancellor of '63 and I were married in Nov. 1963) now have 4 children (3 of them are married,have kids, and are out of the house)and live in a 1921 'Craftsman' style house in quaint downtown Silverton, Or.
